This  is a one to four day experience for people of all helping professions. Empowering, relevant and dynamic, this program is presented through  talks, discussions, and experiential practices. Depending upon  the length, it covers topics such as: the power spiral, power  differential, power parameters, power styles, ethical decision-making, personal power, impact  and intention, resolving difficulties, grievance processes, self-care,  dual role relationships, statistics, shame, boundaries, feedback,  challenges, soul work and world service, power dynamics.

Facilitator’s Training

This is a two to four day training for those who wish to present Right Use of Power programs to others.  Participation in a workshop is a pre-requisite for the Facilitator’s program. Using the comprehensive and user-friendly Teacher’s Resource Manual, we cover topics such as: use of available resources; leadership styles; designing, teaching, and evaluating skills; advanced topics; group management; feedback; and marketing.

Upon  completion of both the workshop and the facilitator’s training, you will  be able to adapt and use the material to present your own workshops to whatever  focus groups interest you. You will also be eligible to join the Right Use of Power Facilitator’s Guild and be networked through the website and administrative office.
