Focus: Massage Therapists

Background: Richard Ireland is a graduate of the Counseling Masters Program at the University of Oregon, a Certified Hakomi Therapist, A Certified Gestalt Therapist, and a Licenced Massage Practisioner. He has had a private Practice in Therapy and Massage in Portland Oregon. He has taught and supervised massage at the Oregon School of Massage since 1986. Richard has a wide variety of experience with BodyCentered Therapy, Massage, group dynamics, men’s groups, couples groups, couples counseling, and mediation. He has organized Conferences, community, state and national gatherings. Recently returned from the Peace Corps in Haiti he has been drawn to Ethics not only for individuals but for governments and life in general. Following these paths has led him toward deeper conguence with his real self in life, work, and relationships. This includes a on going deeper understanding of power in its positive and negative aspects.
