Personally trained by Cedar Barstow, members of the Right Use of Power Institute Teacher’s Guild are independent facilitators who teach Right Use of Power (RUP) programs around the world. They have adapted this approach to fit personal interests and thus offer programs designed for specific groups such as massage therapists, coaches, clergy, nurses, women, personal growth, social workers, psychotherapists, youth, parents, couples and managers and to special topic areas such as empowering women, resolving conflict, leadership dynamics, and intentional communities. New programs are in the process of being developed. Of more than 180 trained facilitators, those listed on this website choose to highlight themselves and their programs here.
Guild Members have access to a Guild website with a library, discussion area, membership lists, partner organization references, networking functions, and creative brainstorming and program development tools.
Guild members are trained to facilitate RUP programs and are networked through the Right Use of Power Institute (RUPI). RUPI, however, does not officially endorse any teachers. All teachers are thus considered self-employed and non-contracted by the Institute. RUP written material and experiential exercises are “open source” and free for use as long as appropriate credit is given to the author.
