All you need is a copy of the book, Right Use of Power, and an Internet connection. Purchase the book once and use it for all 24 mini-courses. Download each mini-course individually, then complete it either online or by mailing or emailing the assessment. You will receive your official documentation certificate via email.

Learn at your own pace

Complete the reading and assessment questions at your own pace. There is no deadline to complete the mini-course, so you can work according to your own schedule.

Each assessment is reviewed by Cedar Barstow, author of Right Use of Power. You will receive a personal response with feedback to enhance your learning.

Accredited and approved

Right Use of Power is accredited and approved as a continuing education provider by:

• The National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) — Provider #5476
• National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) — Provider #424854-00. (All mini-courses are approved for the ethics requirement. The Power Differential, Boundaries, and Codes of Ethics are specifically approved for Standard V.)
• If your organization is not listed above, check with your Board to see if it grants reciprocal credit for courses approved by any of these organizations. Many of them do. If not, please contact me and I will look into pursuing accreditation with your organization.
